Level 2 - Develops the learner's ability to create word-processed documents: entering text, editing and formatting work, using graphs, tables and pictures for a professional finish, and effectively using tools such as the spell-checker and mail merge.
Level 3 - Examines the advanced features of word processing applications enabling learners to enhance their work, improve productivity and save time. Level 2 - Helps the learner develop a working knowledge of spreadsheets, from entering data and formatting worksheets, to creating charts and producing high-quality documents. The learner will be able to produce a high quality Spreadsheet using complex formulae and functions and demonstrate complex methods to integrate different types of data.
Level 3 - Helps learners develop their spreadsheet skills to expert level and realise the full potential of the spreadsheet application to produce higher-quality management information. Level 1 - Provides the skills to use a range of basic presentation software tools. Learners will be able to create text based or diagram based slide shows and lecture notes. This course will cover: introduction to the Master Slide, Headers and Footers, adding borders to a frame, adding a background to slides, saving a Master Slide, adding a new slide, different views, saving a presentation, deleting and inserting a new slide, printing in various formats, inserting graphics, resizing and moving a graphic, reordering shapes, moving a slide, creating a multi-slide presentation, demoting and promoting bullets, inserting a chart, inserting an autoshape, copying a graphic and using the Help function.
Level 2 - Shows the learner how to produce high-quality presentations using a variety of tools including tables, charts, effects, graphs and drawn objects.
Level 1 - Introduces learners to basic database software tools, enabling them to enter information, set up single tables and retrieve information by running database queries.
Level 2 - Looks at creating and modifying tables, queries, forms and reports, and preparing outputs ready for distribution, as well as learning to relate tables and retrieve and manipulate information using query and sort tools.
Level 3 - Helps the learner to get more from database applications, by using the many advanced tools available to better organise and manage information.
